“Discovering Sake” Workshop

Immerse yourself in the world of Sake (Japanese alcoholic beverage made from rice) and its traditions with international Sake lecturer and sommelier, Kuniko Fujita.

During our workshop, "Madame Sake" will provide an introduction to the history and culture of sake, its ingredients, production and tasting methods, labeling, food pairings, and more.

Once you've gained new knowledge, you'll be invited to taste a diverse selection of 5 sakes, all accompanied by small Japanese dishes carefully prepared by a talented Japanese chef.

Ms. Kuniko Fujita, better known as Madame Sake in Quebec, holds a lecturer/educator diploma and is an international sake sommelier (SSI). She organizes tastings and workshops, provides training for professionals and enthusiasts, and participates in corporate events and various festivals. She also consults with restaurateurs. In 2023, she was selected as a jury member for the Japan Women Sake Award competition.
