Dive into the world of Sake (a Japanese alcoholic beverage made from rice) and its traditions with international sake lecturer and sommelier, Kuniko Fujita.

During our workshop, Kuniko Fujita (“Madame Sake”) will present an introduction to the history and culture of sake, its ingredients, production and tasting methods, labeling, pairings, and more.

Then, together with Noriko, you will learn more about the essential role of koji in sake production and other foods, as well as about doburoku, a traditional drink rooted in sake culture. You’ll also get the chance to prepare your own doburoku.
The doburoku you make can be taken home—so don’t forget to bring a bag!

With this new knowledge, you’ll be invited to enjoy a diverse tasting of four different sakes, all paired with small Japanese dishes carefully prepared by Japanese chef Tomokazu Murakami of Atelier TM.
