The ficus retusa is one of the most commonly used trees for growing bonsai. Easy to maintain, its small size and large trunk make it a very decorative plant, ideal for contemporary decorations.
Lighting: Intense to medium without direct sun.
Watering: Allow the soil to dry on the surface between two waterings. Water more often in hot weather. Give a bath for about 20 minutes every two weeks.
Fertilization: During the growth period, fertilize with a bonsai fertilizer. Do not fertilize immediately after pruning.
