Also called a praying or dormant plant (because of its leaves which spread out during the day and straighten up at night), the Maranta steals the show from other indoor plants with its very ornamental foliage covered in very colorful lines.
Lighting: Medium.
Watering: During the growing period, as soon as the soil begins to become dry. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings during the rest period.
The plus: Non-toxic for pets.
